Nikki developed her passion for helping and training dogs based on her own personal experience with her rescue dog Dobby. This is her story: "When I found Dobby he was abused, neglected and still had open wounds. He constantly chased my cat, pulled me into bushes on walks, barked at everyone, tore my house to shreds and I was slightly frightened of him. I wanted to give him back to the shelter many times.
On the day that I was supposed to drop him at his new foster’s home, he got into bed and snuggled with me, I saw a new dog. I called the rescue within minutes telling them I would do whatever it took to make this work, I wouldn’t be another person to fail him. I learned as much as I could - I read books, watched videos, I did everything. I was determined to give him a happy life. It was then that I found my passion. Although I am an all-around animal lover, my forever goal is to help a dog in need, and their families, have the happiest and most harmonious life possible."
