Virtual Dog Training
During this difficult time, it is important that everyone stays safe and healthy, and that means staying home whenever possible. That is why we are now offering virtual dog training to help owners with new dogs or dogs that are dealing with behavioral issues.
Michael’s Pack uses only positive reinforcement training, coupled with holistic methods to provide the best results. We strongly believe that “Communication is Key” and that the training process should strengthen the relationship between you and your pet by building mutual respect and trust.
About Michael’s Pack Virtual Dog Training
At Michael’s Pack, our trainers are flexible when it comes to providing virtual dog training. We can use Zoom or Facetime to communicate with our clients. You can use your personal computer, tablet, or phone to chat with us and during our virtual training sessions we can tackle specific behavioral issues or just typical dog obedience training.
We offer flexible timing that works best for you, and at an affordable price. 30 minute or 60 minute sessions are available.

Crate Training
With a new puppy or dog, crate training is a great way to start teaching them the rules of the house.

Barking is a natural response for a dog, but it is possible to train your dog to stop barking in certain situations.
Fear and Anxiety
Just like in humans, fear and anxiety is very real in dogs. Our professional trainers can help your dog overcome these issues.
Dog Separation Anxiety
It is common for puppies and dogs to feel uncomfortable when left alone. We can help your dog feel safe and comfortable in your home.
Jumping
We can train your dog to only jump in certain situations and also teach commands to get them to stop.
Puppy Chewing
We can show your puppy what is acceptable and what is off limits when it comes to chewing and/or nipping.
Benefits of Virtual Dog Training
Remote training has many benefits over traditional in-person training, especially for separation anxiety cases. Some of the benefits include:
- Work with the most qualified separation anxiety trainers no matter where you live. Michael Schaier is a CSAT certified trainer for dog separation anxiety.
- Extremely flexible training schedule to fit your needs.
- Maintain your privacy and routine. You don’t need to worry about tidying up or rushing home for a session.
- Fewer distractions for your dog, and they will be in a familiar environment with familiar people.
Is Virtual Training as Effective as In-Person Training?
Yes! We have found virtual training to be as effective as in-person training.
You’ll receive the exact same guidance and instruction as our in-person programs, with the primary difference being that you will be the one handling your dog for the duration of training. And that alone can be extremely helpful to build your confidence and provide fast results at home.
Is My Dog a Viable Candidate For Virtual Training?
Whether you have a new puppy or an older dog, virtual training can work wonders to provide an obedience and manners foundation, help with puppy problems like play biting or potty training, solve behavioral problems, and answer all of your questions in a user-friendly, effective format.
Virtual Training With Positive Reinforcement
Positive reinforcement dog training applies to a variety of methods used by trainers to encourage behavior through positive stimuli.
Not all trainers use positive reinforcement. Some use punishment or negative reinforcement. Much of the research out there points towards positive reinforcement being the best method for dog obedience. On top of that, positive reinforcement is better for the bond between a human and their dog. At the end of the day, you want your dog to behave, but also to have a happy and healthy relationship with you and your family. Positive reinforcement is the best way to accomplish this goal.
